My boy was a bit older before he was having breakfast regularly, so I'm not sure how these would go with a younger baby, but we'd give him things like shredded miniwheats or weetbix minis in milk - easy enough to pick up himself, though they can be fairly crunchy (not to mention the extras in packaged cereals!). If you can be bothered with loading spoons you can always go for a bit of greek yoghurt with fruit or plan old thick porridge. You can always give her some fruit at breakfast, bananas are easy enough.
I don't know if you've checked out the
BLW forum, but there's a recipes section on there that has good breakfast recipes (porridge pancakes and wakey wakey cakey - a fave here, both for breakfast or a snack) as well as lots of tips from people who have BTDT.
