Well we have decided to start to try for kids. Well a big driving force in the change in time is that I was late last month, and period still hasn't arrived. Numerous tests done and I am not pregnant, doctor thinks I have just skipped a period and that it will all come right for the next one.
so yesterday I had a crampy feeling like it was coming (or here) but it never arrived, this afternoon I got increcidble pain there, it didn't even last a minute but was enough to take my breath away. I have no idea what caused this and it has never happened before. Has anyone else ever experienced this type of thing?

Hi Sarah Beth,I got really severe pains from my egg implanting when i fell pregnant. They were just like period pains, but stabbing and so strong they could make me keel over! They happened in the fifth week, i found out really early so i knew what they were. Strange about no positive pregnancy test tho? I have heard of tests not showing up positive for some people till a little later tho so dont give up all hope hun!
good luck

i do not want to scare you - but go and get checked out - definately if it happens again - it could be ectopic.. even if you take another test and it turns out to be positive - still go find out - cos pain like that shouldn't be ignored - better to be safe than sorry. here's hoping it's all good for you.. and that i'm completely wrong.

i also don't want to scare you but i've got endometriosis and it made my periods irregular and get sharp stabbing pains that come and go.
i'd would do another test if you still don't get your period as it can take a few to get that positive result.

well still no period, and no pain since either. Pregnancy test, and blood tests say negative so might just be one of those things, unless implantation happens in a few days!

well fingers are crossed, but given the funny cycle I am not holding my breath. I did have problems with cramping, ovulation pain etc when I was a teenager so we will see...

Is it all since switching off from your form of birth control?
I had my IUD out a few weeks ago and my normally very regular 28 day cycle ended up being 6 days late. This was even though the IUD has no hormones in it.
Good luck!

Hey Chaucey,
I have been off the pill for awhile (about 6 months). I know now that I am not pregnant, but now I can begin to work out cycle etc!

Hi Sarah Beth
When i fell pregnant i got period pains for a few weeks starting just before i was due for my period. At times it could be really painful. I also decided it was the egg implanting.
